Most of my figurative work is either made as commissions or is sparked by some new curiosity or new teaching.
I work mostly in porcelain paper clay or stoneware as I love the fabulous texture I can achieve with them.
I am always happy to discuss commissions in any area of my making, and particularly enjoy making Buddhist pieces.
Shaping a figure with a particular person in mind leads to a deeper connection with both the subject and the object, and the work evolves through this dynamic process of feeling and making.
